Revolutions/Inspirations

Muitas vezes encontro-me num impasse. Sem saber em que direção ir ou que sentimento seguir. Todos trabalhamos à base de hormonas. Hormonas emocionais! É claro! :) Eu tento sempre seguir o primeiro sentimento que sinto, seja quando conheço alguém ou vejo um desfile pela primeira vez, o que primeiro pensamos é sempre o mais correcto (em 99% das vezes, o outro 1% é para quando me engano. Acontece!). Mas conseguir expressar o que pensamos e sentimos é sempre mais difícil, quase que sentimos que o dicionário é insuficiente e temos de inventar palavras (......Acontece! hahaha).

Vou tentar não inventar palavras para resumidamente falar das fotos, posts e artistas que me cativaram esta semana.

1.  O triplo: bun perfeito/desfeito, batom clássico, e óculos intemporais.
2.  O triplo C: Clean, Camel, Coat. Eu tenho um e num o uso. Esta semana vai para a lavandaria e depois vai dar umas voltas comigo.
3.  O triplo "desastre", florais + arm candy + linhas. (Eu sei linhas não estão na foto, mas eu so consigo imaginar uma calças tailleur com riscas brancas com esta outfit para neutralizar o look). Et Voilá!

Nail Spring 2013

For nail trends I always think about what to buy and I do my research, "magazine zapping" and then I buy the tones/colors that I know I will actually "wear" but after all that time and money I never use the nail polish more than 3 or 4 times, that happens because I'm too lazy and don't take the time to paint my nails weekly. I will promise here and now that 2013 is going to be a year for nail polish.

But first I needed to do some Research! I did and this is what I found.

Metallics is back and now in the form off nail art or glitter. And for me it's a Never Go!

Two tone nails are cool but sometimes they are to much, at least for me. In the photo above I like the colors and the design but I will never paint my nails like that. Sometimes fashion is too much. But lets not forget that we can't love everything only because it's what fashion editors and designers are saying it's in trend that year or just that season.

Back on track what I did love for Spring 2013 was the "Dark" and the "Pale" trends. I think that I need to buy a pale nail polish I don't have any, a pale pink like the Dior "Ivory", "Saint Tropez" is a great blue and a white shimmery, one or the three. As for dark tones I need to buy a great blue. A new color like the "Blue Gun", I don´t know if its new, it probably isn't. :) But I need it. The new Chanel colors are a great option (see photo below).

I need to restart my nail polish collection that's for sure. :)
I will do a video about my small nail polish collection. I think it will help me put in perspective my interest and maybe inspire me.

I need inspiration!

Sales Season

What do you buy on sales? The basics (t-shirts, jeans, trench-coats, jewelry, LBD or LRD) or you buy what you have been craving for the past months but couldn't afford it? I think that a mix is the best option and always thinking a season ahead, because spring is coming fast and you always need those transitional pieces, right?

A few rings and a bracelet. I love the rings all three are from Pieces and the bracelet is from Asos, it's called the Spike Pearl Skinny Bangle and it goes with everything.

 This dress was a find, a over 50% off kind of find. I love it because I can wear it with a lose sweater on top and a biker boot and I'm good to go, it's a summer dress but a total transitional piece. I got the inspiration and motivation to buy this dress after seeing the new January Catalog from FreePeople.

The sweater! It's light and I love the zipper detail in the back. I need a graphic Sweat and this is it. From Asos, I love their brand. :)

And finally the trainers! These are from River Island and I love them because they're comfortable and the wedge is really hidden. In other models of this new trend you find that from the back the heel gets slimmer and it's totally not a good look in my humble opinion. I fought this trend for the last year and half and now I like it! Not love, but like, at least enough to buy a pair. Black of course!  

I also got a few necklaces, rings and a crochet hat on Aldo and Shopper from H&M, a two-tone (beige and oxblood) and a couple of shirts/blouses for spring time, but in their local stores in my hometown.

I was looking for a good new LBD but haven't found it yet. I searched online and in stores but :(

Hoje quando estava no site Motilo a fazer um "update" e decidi criar alguns Look's para inspiração.
São inspirados nas necessidades da ultima semana (1. Entrevista de emprego; 2. Comprei uma saia Maxi verde de chiffon; 3. E precisava de algo pratico que servi-se para usar tanto a noite como de dia). Fiquei satisfeita e surgiram ainda mais ideias principalmente com a saia verde, pois preciso urgentemente de ideias. Às vezes sinto que estou a ficar esgotada de ideias e que estou sempre a criar o mesmo Look mas com peças diferentes. Já vos aconteceu isso?

Today in Motilo I was doing a "update" and I decided to create a few new Look's for inspiration.
They are inspired in the needs of last week (1. Job Interview; 2. I bought a Maxi skirt in green chiffon; 3. I needed something practical that could work from day-to-night). I was pleased, some other ideas and outfits came to mind, specially for the green skirt.
Sometimes I feel completely empty, without any new ideas and with the feeling that I'm always creating the same Look with different clothes. Does that happen to you?
